Spanish stock exchange recognizes Prosegur Group’s commitment to gender equality by adding Prosegur Cash to the ibex gender equality index
Prosegur Cash’s inclusion acknowledges the company’s efforts to include more women in its governance and senior leadership teams.

Madrid, June 17, 2025 – Prosegur Cash, a global leader in cash logistics and management, has been added to the Ibex Gender Equality Index, which highlights the publicly listed Spanish companies that are doing the most to promote gender equality. This inclusion recognizes the company’s active efforts to include more women in its governance structures and senior leadership roles.
In recent years, the company has implemented internal policies to support equal opportunity, inclusion and female leadership—aligning with CNMV guidelines, which require 25–75% female representation on boards and 15–85% in senior management roles.
Lucas Sánchez, Global Director of Human Resources at Prosegur Cash, commented:
“Being included in this prestigious index is a clear acknowledgment of our commitment to diversity and inclusion, which are foundational to our corporate culture. A diverse workforce not only enriches the organization but also has a positive societal impact. That’s why we will continue to champion these values as we work to build a more inclusive and equitable workplace for all.”
The latest annual review of the index, approved by the Ibex Technical Advisory Committee, added nine companies and removed eight—bringing the total to 58 listed firms, according to Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME). Prosegur Cash joins its parent company, Prosegur, which is already part of the index.
As of mid-2025, the index has gained 21.5% in value, in line with the Ibex 35, which has risen 21.3% over the same period.
