Myandbank and Prosegur Crypto launch crypto-asset trading service in Andorra
Myandbank offers Andorra-based customers Bitcoin and Ethereum investment facilities in accordance with the highest security and compliance standards.
Madrid / Escaldes-Engordany (Andorra), December 15, 2025.- Myandbank, Andbank’s digital banking and fintech platform, and Prosegur Crypto, Prosegur Cash’s institutional digital-asset custody service, have launched a cryptocurrency custody and trading service in Andorra.
The agreement is made possible by the license granted to Prosegur Crypto under Law 24/2022, authorizing it to operate with crypto-assets in the Pyrenean Principality. It also establishes a roadmap for the technological and operational integrations that will allow the company to increase its product range over time.
Beginning in December, Myandbank customers residing in Andorra can invest directly in Bitcoin and Ethereum. In a later phase, the service may be expanded to include additional digital assets, always within robust security and regulatory-compliance frameworks.
At the core of this initiative is institutional-grade security and custody. Tokenized digital assets purchased by Myandbank clients are stored using Prosegur Crypto’s security architecture, specifically designed to mitigate operational and cybersecurity risks and ensure maximum protection of client funds.
The operational integration with Myandbank enables customers to access digital-asset markets directly from their existing banking environment. This preserves the bank’s trusted, client-centric experience while opening the door to new investment opportunities in the digital economy.
Prioritizing security and compliance
The agreement also includes a regulated brokerage service by Minos Global—a company in which Prosegur Cash holds a stake—allowing customers to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum in full compliance with current regulations. The service meets the most stringent international anti-money-laundering standards and counter-terrorist-financing controls, providing clients with a robust regulatory framework.
Marta Bravo, Deputy General Manager of Andbank, said: “Introducing the purchase and sale of crypto-assets in a secure, regulated and pioneering environment in Andorra reinforces our commitment to innovation and allows us to unlock new investment opportunities while maintaining the client trust and proximity that defines us.”
José Ángel Fernández Freire, Director of Innovation at Prosegur Cash and CEO of Prosegur Crypto, described obtaining the license in Andorra as “a strategic milestone that positions Prosegur Crypto among the leading institutional providers of regulated crypto-asset services in the Principality.” He concluded: “This alliance represents another step in strengthening Prosegur’s transformation initiatives, enabling us to develop an increasingly digital, diversified, and client-centric portfolio of products and services, demonstrating Prosegur’s ability to compete at the highest level in highly demanding environments.”
